The D5100 Goes to Didcot

Had an excellent day out at the Didcot Railway Centre last weekend. Always been a fan of steam trains, but seeing the majesty of some of these locomotives close up was something to behold. Really gives one a sense of engineering awe and pride. Alas, the larger engines were tucked away in the sheds so it was impossible to get wide shots, so I had to content myself with a few more “artistic” efforts. All taken on the Nikon D5100:
